Do Not Disturb

I enjoy summer because I get to do more of what I love. Things like; napping, reading my Bible, taking photos, practicing art, hanging with friends, going to concerts, taking beach days, spending time with my Sister, learning a foreign language, serving at my Church, and drinking kombucha… etc. Today I decided why not do a photo shoot were most of my favorite activities take place. In my bedroom, on my cozy bed, where my cat (Skimble Shanks) is most likely a snoozing away right now. Anyway, hope you enjoy the pictures and that you get a chance to savor the beauty of this hot and humid season.

Skimble isn't much of a snuggler.

It's the Little Things

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

These days I'm absorbing every wee bit of summer weather that I can get. Living in Northern Indiana means only three months of warm temperatures (if your lucky) then its back to the layering of garments.  I recently purchased this cutesy romper from Target and was instantly attracted to the bright yellow pattern. NOTHING says summer like a cute romper! If you are interested in purchasing this romper you can find it here. Big thanks to my xiao mei (little sister) for taking five minutes out of her day to shoot these pictures for me. Hope you are enjoying a warm summer!                        ~Toodle-oo~

Windy City

Well Hello readers, today I celebrate finally getting my blog together (kind of)! So lets get right to the fun part...sharing pictures, and talking nonsense of course!
Last month I had the pleasure of traveling to the windy city with my brother, sister, and sister in-law. We experienced the sights and sounds of the unique city of Chicago. I unexpectedly found a beautiful garden stationed inside the city. It seems to me that every time I visit this city new and exciting things are found. One of the highlights of this trip was seeing one of my favorite artist work while visiting the Art Institute of Chicago. Him being Mr. Vincent Van Gogh. I was in my happy place seeing objects of history that stretched back as far as 700 b.c.! Hard to even comprehend I know. I will stop boring you now. Hope you enjoy the pics... and yes, I'm really as pale as the statues!
